PARK CITY 2050

What would it take to build a healthier mountain town?

Since its silver mining days, Park City has certainly become a very wealthy town. Our long-term ambition is now to help Park City become one of America’s healthiest places to live —not through a label, but through measurable improvements in how people live, age and belong over the next 25 years.

A community is a health system

Health is not produced only in clinics. It is shaped by homes, food, movement, outdoor access, social connection, purpose, the built environment and the choices made easier—or harder—by local culture. A healthier community requires progress across all of them.

Start small enough to learn

Argentis begins with individuals and families. We learn which assessments, environments, practices and forms of support produce meaningful change. We then share what works through homes, events, partnerships and the wider Park City community.

Argentis Haus will serve as a living showcase: a place where healthier design, integrated services and community practices can be experienced rather than merely discussed. Our goal is for those ideas to travel into hundreds of local homes and organisations over time.

Six foundations of longer, better lives

Foundation Focus
Nutrition and hydration
Food quality, adequacy, metabolic health and practical consistency.
Movement
Strength, aerobic capacity, mobility, balance and everyday activity.
Sleep
Duration, quality, timing and the environment that supports recovery.
Stress and recovery
Nervous-system regulation, psychological wellbeing and restorative practices.
Toxins and exposures
Alcohol, tobacco, environmental exposures and avoidable burdens.
Purpose and community
Belonging, contribution, relationships and reasons to remain engaged.

An invitation, not a claim

Park City is not currently an official Blue Zone, and Argentis is not affiliated with or licensed by Blue Zones, LLC, Blue Zones Project, Dan Buettner or related organisations. We use the broader concept of community longevity as inspiration while developing an independent, locally grounded approach.
